Katy Perry electrified the second weekend of Brazil’s Rock in Rio 2024 by debuting her new album “143” during a dynamic performance on the festival’s main stage.
The pop star’s setlist featured new tracks and fan favorites, and she surprised the audience by inviting music legend Cyndi Lauper for a duet of “Time After Time.”
The performance, which included a special duet with Lauper, was a standout moment in the festival’s lineup of top-tier acts like Ed Sheeran and Mariah Carey.
“I want to be exactly like you when I grow up, exactly like you,” Perry told the “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” singer. “You are so incredible, so connective, so full of life, so full of energy.”
