On Monday, January 5, Bruno sent the internet into a frenzy with a simple post on X: “My album is done.” He doubled down by sharing the same message to his Instagram Story, leaving fans buzzing about what could be next.

Believe it or not, Bruno’s last solo album, 24K Magic, dropped all the way back in 2016 — and it went on to win multiple Grammys. Since then, the only album he’s released was An Evening With Silk Sonic in 2021, created with Anderson .Paak as part of their duo Silk Sonic.

While new solo music has been on pause, Bruno has hardly been quiet. Over the past decade, he’s been performing nonstop, both internationally and during his long-running Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. He’s also expanded his Vegas footprint by opening his own nightclub, The Pinky Ring, adding yet another layer to his signature style and showmanship.

Now, with a completed album teased and anticipation building, it looks like 2026 could finally mark the long-awaited return of a full Bruno Mars solo era.
