People have always said, first impressions can last a lifetime, but I do think that over time people forget about their first impression of someone, unless it’s a really bad first impression! What do we notice first about people, is it their smell, their smile, their eyes, Biological Anthropologist Helen Fisher has broken down the three traits we noticed about people!
- Teeth – your dental identity indicates your age, gender, income level and social status. The minute you smile, you are judged on how your teeth look. (Now I am self-conscience).
- Grammar – 75% of men and 88% of women prefer good grammar over confidence.
- Confidence – ‘Your self-confidence tells a good deal about your emotional stability.’ If you don’t feel good about yourself, you have no positive emotional energy to focus on another person.
