Who doesn’t love a good ol’ McFlurry from McDonald’s? They were first introduced in 1997, but was invented in 1995 by Ron McLellan, a McDonald’s franchisee. A McFlurry consists of whipped soft serve vanilla ice cream and a sweet topping. Original flavors included Oreo, Heath, Nestle Crunch, M&M’s and Butterfinger. If you were to travel around the world, you would find some different flavors that you wouldn’t be able to find in the United States. But who is to say, you can’t make them on your own. Some notable flavors include:
Smarties – available in the U.K., Ireland, Italy, Finland, or Canada.
