It’s official, Netflix has dropped its Basic plan option. With the change, Netflix has eliminated its lowest-price option without ads.
The streaming service will now offer three plans.
Standard with ads – $6.99 a month
Standard – $15.49 a month
Premium – $19.99 a month
The good news is if you are currently on the Basic plan, you can keep it and you won’t be charged more, you are grandfathered until you change your plan or cancel it.
