A few weeks back I got to talk with Stevens Point native Gary Konkol on his upcoming MMA and Kickboxing fight coming to Holiday Inn and Convention Center. Gary returns as the main event this year.
When asked what he has learned this far in fighting he said, ‘You’re always uncomfortable, and you should be because you are learning new things, it’s all new and it was all new to me.’

When asked how he gets rid of his before fight jitters he said, ‘I am prepared for this, I am sound and safe in every situation, I know a way out.’
