Brand new Wet Nose Wednesday with the Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, meet Huron, a 2-year-old, special needs cat who is spayed and up-to-date on all immunizations.
Huron came to us as a transfer from a rural area in Waushara County. She was obtained as part of a hoarding situation. Huron was small in size and one of her eyes did not develop normally. It was inset and she could not see out of it. The HSPC medical team along with our wonderful Vet carefully removed the troublesome eye. Her other eye is very healthy and is in good vision. She is labeled “Special Needs”; as she should remain indoors and not be an outdoor cat due to her vision.
As Huron moved to recover, she continued to grow strong and her eye healed. However, she is quite shy and small for her age. She is not aggressive but quiet and scared. This little girl has been through a lot and needs love to make her feel “whole” again. Huron will especially lean right into gentle pets and loves her chin scratched! Huron is little in stature but has a big heart that’s ready to love you and be your best buddy!
She really needs a home for her to feel comfortable and relaxed in.
