Drake took over all three nights of London’s Wireless Festival at Finsbury Park this past week, and it’s safe to say — the city showed up for him. With thousands of fans filling the park each day, the energy was electric throughout his performances.

During his second headlining set, things took a fiery turn. While Drake was addressing the crowd between songs, fans erupted into a loud chant of “F— Kendrick.” Clearly catching him off guard, Drake paused for a moment before responding with a smirk, “Grab me a shot. I’ll drink to that.”

The moment quickly lit up social media as fans reacted to the jab, especially considering the ongoing tension between the two superstars.

And as if the timing couldn’t be more pointed — Drake has just overtaken Kendrick Lamar as the most-streamed rapper on Spotify. The numbers are razor-close: Drake at 80.65 million monthly listeners, and Kendrick just behind at 80.62 million.

The battle for the crown in hip-hop continues, and this weekend in London just added more fuel to the fire.
