We have brand new Pet of the Week with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, everyone meet Jax. He is a very sweet 1-year-old mixed breed dog. He weighs 37 pounds, neutered and up-to-date on his immunizations.
Jax came to the shelter in need of extra care and was in a homeless situation. He is now ready for an adult home with lots of love. He is a little shy of loud noises and strange objects but he loves to cuddle and really enjoys calm patient people. The Humane Society believes he would be good with most dogs as he was raised with his brother and father, who are still at the shelter. He might be ok with cats.
Jax is house trained, neutered, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Jax please fill out a dog application here. His adoption fee is $200 plus tax. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County a dog license will be issued at the time of the adoption.
