Meet our next Pet of the Week with the Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, Platinum. He is a grey tiger striped cat, approximately 6-8 years-old, he is neutered and current on all of his immunization and disabled.
Platinum came to the shelter with 31 other cats that were found in one home and rescued by the HSPC Animal Control Team. During his initial exam he presented with a deformed leg, this deformity was so severe it had to be amputated, leaving him with 3 legs. He’s still working on adjusting to the three-legged life and has an entire room to himself to stretch out and walk around. Platinum has not had much people socialization before arriving at the shelter. He has grown a lot since his first day and accepts gentle pets and affection. He’s a sweet boy who has had a rough start to life.
He need a home that is calm, quiet and most importantly patience. He will require time and patience for him to fully come out of his shell. He may benefit from having another cat in the home. The shelter is looking for an adult home only to ensure he is as comfortable as possible.
Platinum is housetrained, neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is $55 plus tax. If you are interested in meeting Platinum, please fill out an adoption app here!
