Pet of the Week – Bondi

By Kori Oct 9, 2024 | 6:45 AM

Back with Wet Nose Wednesday with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids; meet our next Pet of the Week – Bondi. Bondi is a mix of Rottweiler, Shepard, Terrie and Cattle Dog, he is black, tan and white, with piercing blue eyes. He is current on all of his immunizations, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is 2 years-old and about 59 pounds and he is looking for his new forever home.

Bondi came to the Humane Society of Portage County in March as part of a court case. He was one of the 20 dogs that were rescued from one home. It was a sad situation and he had to fend for himself.

He does enjoy other dogs but does not do well around cats. He would do best with older children and adults. He loves treats and loves a good game of chase the ball. He is good on a leash and enjoys squeaky toy. He can be shy to begin with but once he warms up to you, he is ready to be your best friend.

You can adopt Bondi today for $150+tax. If you would like to meet him, click here to fill out an application. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County a dog license will be issued at the time of the adoption.

Going on this Saturday, October 12th, help Fill The Van, from 10am-2pm at Walmart in Plover shop for donations to help care for the animals at the HSPC. Currently, the Humane Society is caring for 207 pets. Volunteers will give you a shopping list of things that are needed at the shelter. Get more details here!
