Each week we have been highlighting an animal at the Humane Society of Portage County that is looking for a new forever home, meet Dotty our new Pet of the Week with Peoples State Bank. Dotty is an outgoing and friendly 2-year-old black and white American Bulldog mix. She is short and stocky with a big head but she is a big girl coming in at 83 pounds. She is house trained, spayed, micro chipped and current on her vaccines.
Dotty has been at the shelter for a full year and considers the staff her family, but she would love to be with your family. She needs an adult home with someone strong enough to be able to handler and walk her. Dotty would like a home where she is the only pet. She has a high prey drive. She also would not do well in a home with young kids, dogs, cats or small animals. She would do ok with teens/adults. Dotty does think she is a lap dog and loves to cuddle.
