Brand new Wet Nose Wednesday, Simon, he is a white and brown Collie-Shepard mix. He is 8-years-old, coming in at 90 pounds, but up-to-date on his immunizations, looking for a new home.
This fuzzy 8-year-old is such a sweetheart. His former owner could no longer take care of him and he was surrendered.
He is very affectionate and loves his toys. He can get possessive over his food and toys, so young children are not recommended for him. He may do well with another dog but seemed a little too interested in the kitties. So we do not recommend a home with cats. Simon is weighing in at 90 lbs currently. He is pretty overweight and is on a weight loss journey. Even though he can be possessive of his items, he is very tolerant with grooming and vet care! He came in very matted and did not mind being groomed. Simon will need continued grooming as his coat grows out to avoid becoming matted again. We are unsure whether Simon is house trained or not, but his kennel seems to be clean most of the time. Simon is neutered, micro chipped, and current on his vaccines.
