Actress Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at a Greenville apartment complex. The Greenville Police Department responded to the scene at Judson Mill Lofts, where medical assistance was administered but Panettiere was pronounced dead. The cause and manner of her death are currently unknown, and the investigation is ongoing. Preliminary findings have not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. The Greenville Police Department is working with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office on the case.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” her rep said in a statement.
