Meet our new Wet Nose Wednesday with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, the pet of the week is Azalea. She is a short-haired black and white 6-year-old female looking for a new home.
Azalea’s journey has been full of ups and downs. She was born right here at the shelter in June 2019, part of our sweet “Flower” litter. While her siblings and mom quickly found homes, Azalea was left behind. With her extra toes (she’s a polydactyl!) and her talkative personality, she always managed to entertain everyone in the cat room.
Azalea was eventually adopted, but sadly, she has been returned and is now hoping to find her true forever family.
This adult girl has plenty of love to give. She’s a chatterbox who enjoys “telling you about her day” while soaking up scratches and pets. While she doesn’t like being picked up (she’s a little overweight and working on it with special food and medication), she’ll happily keep you company on the couch or while you work from home.
Azalea would thrive best as the only pet in a quiet home without children. She’s sweet as can be, with a personality that’s all wrapped up in a soft, furry package. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and ready to meet her match.
Her adoption fee is just $30. If you think Azalea could be the companion you’ve been searching for, please fill out an adoption application.
