Ann M. Martin’s beloved Baby-sitters Club series is headed to Broadway as a brand-new stage musical, set to debut in spring 2027.
The musical will follow Kristy, Mary Anne, Claudia, and Stacey as they reunite in Stoneybrook twelve years after their club disbanded. The friends navigate adulthood—tackling identity, careers, and relationships—with the same heart that made readers fall in love with them decades ago.
The creative team behind the show includes Kate Wetherhead (The Devil Wears Prada) as book writer and Mark Sonnenblick (Kpop Demon Hunters) as composer and lyricist.
Originally published between 1986 and 2000, The Baby-sitters Club grew into a cultural phenomenon, selling nearly 200 million copies in 23 languages, spanning more than 250 titles, and inspiring TV shows, films, and graphic novels.
