“Saturday Night Live” has finalized its cast for the upcoming 51st season, which premieres October 4.
As part of its long-running tradition of refreshing the lineup, SNL is welcoming five new cast members: Ben Marshall, Tommy Breena, Jeremy Culhane, Kam Patterson, and Veronika Slowikoska.
Familiar faces will also return, including veterans Kenan Thompson, Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, Ego Nwodim, Mikey Day, and Michael Che.
The new season comes after several recent departures from the cast, including Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Emil Wakim, and Michael Longfellow.
