Meet our new Wet Nose Wednesday with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, here is Asta the pet of the week. She is a mixed breed, 1.5-year-old, black and white 46 pound female canine looking for a new home. She is up-to-date on all immunization and spayed.
Asta is a Wisconsin dog who came into the shelter in April as a stray. She is very active and loves to play. She knows basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘lay down.’ She walks well on a leash, loves tennis balls and rubber squeaky toys. She also like to cuddle and sit in your lap.
Asta has an average activity leave but is always ready for a walk or play. She loves to play with other dogs, she can be a heavy player and a bit loud when she is having a lot of fun. Due to Asta being young, she’ll do well in an active home and with some extra basic training. An adult home with teens would be best for her. She will home with no dogs, cats or small animals.
Asta is current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $150 plus tax. You can fill out an adoption application here. All dog adoption come with a leash, collar, toys and 3 days’ worth of food.
