Will Smith is facing backlash for allegedly using AI-generated fans in a new tour video.
The actor and rapper, currently touring in support of his first album in 20 years, Based On A True Story, shared the highlight reel on Instagram. The clip shows cheering crowds and fan signs, but some viewers noticed distorted faces, extra fingers, and blurred hands — telltale signs of AI.
One shot features a man holding a cancer survival sign with warped knuckles, while nearby fans’ hands and accessories appear to merge unnaturally.
