Back with another Wet Nose Wednesday with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, meet the new pet of the week, Skeeter. He is a black and tan 1.5-year-old male, weighing 57 pounds, and is neutered.
Skeeter came to the shelter as a stray and no one came forward to claim him, he is now looking for his forever home. He is an active German Shepherd mix, he is friendly, playful and already knows basic commands like, sit, lay, down and shake. He likes to cool off in his swimming pool and enjoys a good squeaker toy. He might do well with other dogs his size, but cats are not recommend in the home.
Skeeter will do well with an experienced adopter who is familiar with the German Shepherd personality, an adult home would be perfect for him, he would make an excellent companion. If you currently have another dog in the home, you can do an introduction with Skeeter at the shelter.
Skeeter is house trained, current on vaccinations, micro chipped and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $150 plus tax, if you are interested in meeting him, fill out an adoption application here.
