Think you’ve tried every smoothie combo out there? Think again. Smoothie King has teamed up with Heinz to launch the first-ever Ketchup Smoothie — and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
The unlikely pairing was born out of the age-old debate: Is a tomato a fruit? Heinz and Smoothie King leaned into the question and created a drink that puts the red condiment front and center. But this isn’t just a bottle of ketchup on ice — the smoothie features a blend of Heinz ketchup, açaí sorbet, apple juice, strawberries, and raspberries for a surprisingly sweet and tangy flavor.
The limited-edition drink is available starting today for $5.70 at select Smoothie King locations, including stores in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Miami, and parts of New York and New Jersey.
Would you be bold enough to sip the ketchup smoothie?
