Pop star Chappell Roan recently released a new single titled “The Subway,” but she is in no rush to create a second album. In a recent interview with Vogue, Roan admitted that her next project does not yet exist. Despite winning a Grammy for best new artist and releasing several singles, including “The Subway,” “The Giver,” and “Good Luck, Babe,” Roan emphasized that there is no album in the works. She explained that her songwriting process takes time and cannot be rushed, and she prefers to create music authentically without external pressures. Roan also shared that she finds social media detrimental to her art and has chosen to stay off platforms like Instagram during the album creation process.

She does have a few pop-up show coming up this fall.
