Pop star Sabrina Carpenter is reportedly being considered for the role of the X-Men character Dazzler in the MCU, a role that fans have long dream-cast Taylor Swift for.
Carpenter has met with Marvel Studios about potentially playing the musically-inclined mutant Alison Blaire. In addition to the Dazzler role, Carpenter is rumored to be in talks for a role in Mamma Mia 3 and was previously linked to Rapunzel in Disney’s live-action Tangled.
This would mark Carpenter’s first appearance in a superhero film, adding to her growing demand in Hollywood.
