Jack Black Will Receive The King of Comedy Award During the Kids’ Choice Awards

Jack Black is set to receive the King of Comedy Award during the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards this year. The award show will be live from Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA on Saturday, June 21^st at 8pm. And yes he will be doused in the famous Nickelodeon slime.

Jack had to say this:

I think that laughter is the best medicine, and I’m just happy that I can provide it in the form of entertainment

Jack is no stranger to the Kids’ Choice Awards, he has hosted it back in 2006, 2008 and in 2011, plus, he has won past Kids’ Choice Awards for his voiceover work as Bowser in The Super Mario Bros last year and won favorite voice for Kung Fu Panda in 2009.

Alex Warren, Auli’I Cravalho, Benny Blanco, Ice Spice, Victoria Monet, Jack Griffo, Kel Mitchell, Kira Kosarin, Tony Hawk and more are set to make appearances this year.

Tyla will be hosting and the show will be simulcast on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoon, Nick Jr., MTV2 and CMT.
