Meet our brand new Pet of the Week with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, Aretha! She is a brown brindle, 1-year-old, weighing 42 pounds, she is spayed and up-to-date on her immunizations, plus she is house trained. Aretha was brought to the shelter as part of a ‘two-some,’ who is assumed to be her sister. No one has called to claim the pair. She is very social and outgoing; she loves to play with people and her toys and enjoys cuddling!
Aretha likes to play with most dogs, but seems to be uninterested in cats. She will need a little training for walking calmly on her leash. She would enjoy an active family who will get her out of the house for long walks.
If you would like to meet Aretha you can fill out a dog application here. Her adoption fee is $150 plus tax. All dog adoptions come with a leash, collar, toys and three days of food. The adopter is given copies of medical records. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County, a dog license will be issued at the time of adoption.
