Meet our new Pet of the Week with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, Hippo. He is a 4-year-old male, white pup looking for a forever home!
Hippo is 80 pounds of love, he is up-to-date on immunizations and vaccines and is neutered. He was found as a stray in Portage County. The family who brought him in said he did well with their dogs, cats and children. No one had called to claim Hippo, so he is now on the search for a new loving family.
He is friendly, and seems to enjoy everyone. He really likes being goofy and playing with his toys and getting lots of attention. He loves car rides with the windows open and the fresh air blowing in his face. An adult home or with older children would be a good fit for him, if you have other animals, with the right introduction he will do all right. Hippo is a strong walker.
If you would like to meet Hippo, fill out a dog application today. His adoption fee is $150 plus tax. All dog adoptions come with a leash, collar, toys and three days worth of food. The adopter will receive copies of all medical records. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County, a dog license will be issued at the time of adoption.
Coming up on Sunday, May 4th the 4th Annual Artisan Alley Craft Fair to help support the shelter animals at the Humane Society of Portage County.
