Meet our new Pet of the Week with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids – George. He is an 11-year-old senior cat, who is grey and white, neutered and current on all core vaccinations.
George is a big fur ball of love, he is a big boy at 24 pounds, but that doesn’t stop him. He is currently on a weight loss journey and would love a human companion to cheer him on as he makes his progress with losing weight in his new forever home.
George was brought to the Humane Society due to his owner having medical issues and could no longer care for him. He would prefer to be the only companion in the home, since he does not seem to be a fan of other cats or dogs.
George is a big sweet boy, he loves to be brushed and will lean into your hand as you pet him. His favorite spot is to lie in his had tree in the enclosed area where he can peak out to welcome you or check out visitors as they walk by. He recently had dental surgery to fix his teeth and is on his way to recovery. He is currently on wet food only as his mouth heals. He is not on special food but will need his food measured during his weight loss journey.
