The Weeknd has shared a new trailer for his upcoming film Hurry Up Tomorrow, which will be released in theaters nationwide on May 16.
Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan star alongside The Weeknd in the movie, directed by Trey Edward Shults.
The film follows The Weeknd’s fictionalized pop star character on a bewildering odyssey, with Ortega playing his love interest, who takes him on a psychotic journey.
The movie is a companion to The Weeknd’s Hurry Up Tomorrow album, which marked his retirement of the Weeknd persona.
Director Trey Edward Shults aimed to create a movie that would appeal to both The Weeknd’s fans and a broader audience. Check out the trailer below.
