Meet our new Pet of the Week with The Collar Club in Wisconsin Rapids, Melvin. Melvin is a wired haired mixed breed puppy, he is eight pounds, black and brown eight month old pup. He is neutered and up-to-date on his immunizations.
Melvin’s mom is a miniature Pinscher, the Humane Society does not think he will get much bigger than he already is. His owner surrendered him along with his sister Avery. They had more dogs in their home than they could care for. Melvin is somewhat nervous little guy, he will bark when startled or when he sees a picture of a dog on the wall. He loves to sit on benches and cuddle. He would do best in an adult home with older children or with another small dog or well-behaved cat. He is very friendly and loves constant attention. Melvin will need to be house trained.
Melvin’s adoption fee is $250 plus tax, you can meet him by filling out a dog application here. If the adopter is a resident of Portage County, a dog license will be issued at the time of the adoption.
