It has been reported that the high school, Palisades Charter High School, that has featured in many Hollywood movies including, Freaky Frida, Carrie and Modern Family has burned down in the Palisades Fire.
The school also boasts a notable alumnus of Hollywood talent including J.J. Abrams, will.i.am, Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Jason Lee, Katey Sagal, Peter DeLuise, Thomas Newman, Penelope Ann Miller, Amy Smart, and Adam Shankman among others.
As the L.A. County wildfires continued to rage, California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency, and nearly 30,000 people have been ordered to evacuate. As of early Tuesday evening, there was zero percent containment, per the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Among stars that have lost their home due to the wild fire includes, John Goodman, Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Cameron Mathison, Rikki Lake and others.
Airbnb is working with local organization to help those displaced from the fires.
