Wet Nose Wednesday – Meet Our Next Pet(s) Of The Week – Grumpy & Happy

By Kori May 15, 2024 | 6:33 AM

This week for Wet Nose Wednesday we have a double feature for the Pet Of The Week, meet Grumpy and Happy of the ‘Snow White Gang’ they came to the shelter ten months ago and they are looking for their forever home!

As kittens these two were scared and unsure of humans, they went into a foster home with the goal of becoming more socialized with people. Grumpy and Happy watched their siblings Bashful and Sleepy find homes and now they are on their journey to do the same. Grumpy is a beautiful black & white domesticated short-haired boy with a cute black nose. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his immunizations. (He’s not grumpy at all). Happy is almost an all white domesticated short-haired boy with little dabs of beautiful charcoal grey and a little grey smudge of color below his chin. He is neutered and up-to-date on all his immunizations. They both love pieces of rotisserie chicken for a snack.

Shelter staff and their foster mom have noticed they these two brother have become an inseparable pair, and we want to see them go home together. If you are interested in adopting them, submit an online cat applications. Adoption fee is $55+tax for both. Adoption staff will contact the approved applicant only.

Every Wednesday in May we talk with Sherri Galle-Teske the Executive Director of HSPC about adoptable pets and how you can support the Humane Society of Portage County. There are many adoptable pets residing at Humane Society, if you have the ability to adopt a pet today, consider the Humane Society of Portage County.

Coming up on Friday, May 31st join us for Peoples for Pets with Peoples State Bank, to help raise awareness of the adoptable pets in Portage County. This is a family fun event with activities for all ages, including a Brat Fry, silent auction, petting zoo, live music, kids games and more!
