The 30-year-old “All About That Bass” singer stated on Monday, April 29, that she would include Riley, three, and Barry, nine months, on her “Timeless” tour this fall. Kelly Clarkson gave her opinion on the matter.
After telling Trainor she won’t “wanna hear what I have to say,” the mom of two, who has daughter River Rose, nine, and son Remy, eight, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, mentioned how hard it is to get “proper sleep” when touring as a family.
“I’m gonna warn you, I tried this,” she told the “Mother” singer. “I tried this, and it was fine with the one kid, but when you went out, when you tried with two — and then I had dogs, too — I was like, ‘What do I… who do I think I am?”
Trainor, who has four dogs, says her brother will be on dog-sitting duty while she tours for two months. Clarkson advised not to feel the need to wake up with her kids and get as much rest as possible so her vocals won’t suffer while on stage.
