Kevin Bacon was welcomed back to Payson High School 40 years later for prom. Just in time as the school is set to be torn down after this school year.
Kevin Bacon visited with students and teachers at the school along with stopping by “his old locker.’ Inside his locker was “Footloose” memorabilia and an honorary diploma. The TODAY show was there to film his arrival.
The students put together a social media campaign #bacontopayson as they would benefit his SixDegrees.org foundation.

The students of Payson high school made good to their promise as they built 5,000 kits for his charities. While he didn’t stay for the dance, the students still had a great time at their Footloose themed prom.
