I will argue that “Beetlejuice” is one of the BEST movies to come out of the 80’s! It’s been a long time coming with rumors that a sequel was in the works. It was finally confirmed that it was in fact happening. The bar is raised pretty high for this sequel because we have seen it where sadly sequels aren’t nearly as good as the OG. One example is Hocus Pocus 2, the expectation was pretty high, and it was just kinda blah even with the original leading cast.
This though, is already shaping up to be great as Michael Keaton puts on that iconic black and white striped suit. We see Winona Ryder all in black and even hear “Day O” and see the model town and so much more.
The movie comes out September 6th
