Ed Sheeran hit the stage in Seattle over the weekend and brought out his “old friend,” Macklemore, to perform his hits.
Seattle is home for Macklemore, and fans were excited to see him on stage with Ed performing “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us.” Fan video popped up on social media of the exciting performance.
Sheeran introduced the “Same Love” rapper with a heartfelt speech. “I have a real great love for Seattle. I have a lot of friends here. I shot the ‘Shape of You’ music video here. I’ve spent a lot of time here,” he told the record-breaking Lumen Field crowd.
Sheeran shared how the two met via Twitter and that their friendship has remained intact for ten years. The two musicians then launched into Macklemore’s hits.
