This looks like the catch of a lifetime! Officials for the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament in North Carolina had to disqualify a team over the weekend after they caught a massive marlin they spent 6 hours reeling in, and it weighed over 600lbs.
They could have won a whopping $3.5 million but the team ended up getting disqualified because it had been mauled. Apparently, the fish had multiple shark bites in it. And the bites aren’t all that visible to the untrained eye.
