Warner Bros announced in April that they would adapt the first Harry Potter TV series based on JK Rowling’s books, with her as executive producer.
There will be a new cast for the series with a new actor as the titular wizard. Radcliffe played the role in eight movies from 2001-2011. Radcliffe starred in the Harry Potter movies from the age of 11-21.
The new dad expected others to play his famous character; he told Deadline, “I think it’s like Harry Potter was always destined to become like Sherlock Holmes. The people that saw Basil Rathbone play Sherlock Holmes then were like, ‘No one could ever do this!’ They’re gonna, though. It’ll get passed on to somebody.”
