There are plenty of classic Halloween movies from E.T. to Hocus Pocus, everyone has a favorite, including each state in the U.S.
Dish set out to find what each state’s favorite spooky movie is and the results might surprise you (BOO)!
According to their findings, there are only 12 spooky movies that are most loved by states across the country and they are Beetlejuice, Hocus Pocus, Scoob-Doo, Coraline, Gremlins, Coco, Ghostbusters, The Witches, E.T., Halloweentown, Hotel Transylvania and The Addams Family.
Beetlejuice was the favorite Halloween movie in just five states including Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, South Dakota and Vermont.
While Ghostbusters was a favorite in eight states including Wisconsin, Idaho, New Hampshire and Tennessee.
As for Coraline she was the top pick in 10 states but didn’t take the top spot. That movie belongs to Scooby-Doo which was a favorite in 13 states including Alaska, Kansas, Michigan and Ohio.
