The county is filled with beautiful national parks including 4 great one in our own backyard.
If you haven’t visited a park nearest to you, you are in luck because the Park Service is giving you a reason to get out the door this month. That’s because every year for a handful of day, the parks offer free entry at every location not just in our area but around the country. This Saturday September 24, you and the whole family will have a chance to not only visit a national park for free but also help celebrate National Public Lands Day.
This weekend you will be able to enjoy dozens of activities inside the park’s boarder but be sure to plan ahead because only admission fees are waived and does not include other charges you might encounter for activities like transportation, tours, or camping sites.
