Robert Englund, known for his role as Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street, plays Victor Creel in the new season of the series.
Stranger Things creator, writer and director Matt Duffer, says Englund approached him with the idea for a guest role.
Englund isn’t the first 80’s pop culture favorite to appear in the Netflix series. Matthew Modine, Sean Astin from Goonies and Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride also made appearances.
