A nice cozy bed, with fresh clean sheets and a pillow that feels like a cloud, is a dream when it comes to sleep. Maybe you have cold breeze on your face from a fan or you use a sound machine to help you sleep! What happens when you can’t sleep tho? Well, apparently you can train your brain to sleep better. A clinical psychologist and sleep expert Michael Grandner explains how you can re-program your brain to sleep better!

There are 3 simple tricks to make that happen:

  1. Create a schedule and stick to it
    • waking up at the same time and moving as soon as you open your eyes will set a good pattern and increase energy
  1. Don’t line in bed awake
    • it’s best to get out of bed, get sleepy and return
  1. Change your attitude
    • you should see sleep as the first step for a productive and happy following day
