We have all seen those news stories or Facebook comments that if you see ‘F1’ written in the snow by your home or a water bottle on your car you should you should be worried! Well, if you find a dryer sheet in your mailbox you shouldn’t be. And I just learned this today!
Postal workers are putting the dryer sheets in there to keep themselves safe! And they are doing it because of WASPS!
One postal work posted on Reddit and explained why they do it. Apparently wasps don’t like the smell of dryer sheets! It helps keep them away and keep the postal worker from getting stung!
So if you find a dryer sheet in your mail box leave it! Your post person will thank you!
